The Emporium Castle Rock, Colorado

We told you recently about our space in the Emporium , but we are so excited to share that we have expanded! We’ve been wanting to grow our presence there, and September was the perfect time.

Check out our new space! You can see that I have incorporated a couple of my favorite elements from our Alpaca Cottage, but hey- if you love something, buy 2!

One of the things I love about The Emporium Castle Rock, Colorado is that they are open literally every day from 10AM-6PM except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. They feature over 50 vendors who have everything from jewelry to furniture. I’ve got a couple of favorite shops, but really everything is curated so well that there isn’t anything I don’t love! This is a great stop for decor, clothing and gifts.

We are so excited to be selling alpaca yarn now, too! We have a wonderful fiber artist friend who hand dyes alpaca yarn. The color choices are endless. Featured below is a 50/50 blend of alpaca and merino wool. This yarn is called Slub Yarn and it is fabulous. So very soft and colorful- it is perfect for your next knitting project.

We searched for a long time to figure out how best to display our new yarns and while we HATE these damn grids, they really do the job.

We’re not quite done with the space (probably never will be!), but we are excited about the rest of the project. I picked up some awesome lights from Ikea (favorite place for lighting!) that I will hang from the exposed beams. (By I, I mean Andy.)

Ikea also has new leather drawer pulls which I am going to use as a scarf display. Which idea do you like better? I (Andy) can hang the straps and we can put scarves directly on them, or we can make a dowel hanger and hang the scarves on that. What do you think??

Come see us and all the other amazing vendors at The Emporium Castle Rock!
